Kynan (Ky) Tait

Kynan (Ky) Tait

PRODUCT DIRECTOR

Kynan is quiet, but don’t let that deter you from finding out that in his head is a constant stream of moving and still imagery. In a time where everyone can make and consume pictures at a rate never seen before, style still reigns king, and when you pair that with an eye for good subject matter you get gold. This is what sets Kynan apart. He has his feet firmly planted in the current of photography, but he knows that these two elements are what comes first. They always have and they always will.

When she’s not composing articles for Stocksy’s talented artists, she’s likely looking at pictures of dinosaurs, cackling at her own jokes, contemplating space and time, googling everything, or curling up with a book in fleeting patches of sunshine. Long walks on the beach are way up there too.

Nicklaus Walter

Nicklaus Walter

Senior Client Relations Representative

Nick has been obsessed with photography since he was 16 years old. At the time, his main interest was capturing photos of his friends skateboarding in his hometown of Edmonton, Alberta. What started as a fun pastime eventually led him to move to Vancouver, BC and complete the Digital Photography program at the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts in 2008.

Soon after, Nick began contributing to a couple of stock photography agencies, but was always left with the sense that the companies he shot for weren't very interested in the wellbeing of their photographers, nor did they compensate them fairly. When Stocksy first launched in early 2013, Nick saw the press release and instantly knew that working with Stocksy would be a dream job.

In February 2014, Nick was thrilled to join Stocksy as both the Client Services Representative and as a contributing photographer. To this day, he's still just as excited that he gets to be involved with an organization that puts photographers first.

Organizational Development Director

If she’s not working, chances are Danielle is in the ocean, on the ocean or next to it. Much to her partner’s embarrassment, she has an unreasonable affection for super bad action movies (especially if Vin Diesel or The Rock are involved) and is a strong believer there can never be enough TFTF sequels.

Favourite hobbies include collecting ramekins (you can never have too many tiny bowls), going to sketchy bars and breweries, making blanket nests for her pup, and slaying salmon while swearing like a sailor.
