Technology is a large part of our lives and is often represented in the media surrounding us.\u00a0There are plenty of\u00a0stock photos\u00a0of teenagers texting their brains out or\u00a0business folk checking emails<\/a> on their tablets. These representations of technology interactions are generally accepted as normative in advertising. In addition to kids and the workforce, new mothers use the internet and social media a lot. Regardless, moms\u00a0are often ignored in our media and are even criticized for their participation in online activity.\u00a0Here\u2019s why we should be including more visuals of women and tech on Mother\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n
