Shoot To Win! The #Reelstock Film Footage Contest

If you’ve ever shot with film, you know that it has a certain je ne sais quois about it. You also likely know that it can be expensive, unpredictable and a total real estate hog in your equipment bag. What’s more, developing your mystery film can be a substantial time and money pit—and that’s before you even know if you can use it.

But if you have shot with the celluloid medium, you know that the reward is unequaled.

The natural grain, the mystique and unpredictable nature of film is exactly what makes it worth the fuss. Film affords the artist another tool in their kit; another unique medium to paint or sculpt a vision with a magic that is unparalleled.

We like magic so we’re encouraging more film wizards to conjure up inspired content with an enticing contest.

Here’s how to enter:

We’re looking for real moments on 8mm or 16mm film. Or both. Whatever you love to work with.

Once you’ve chosen your best video, upload it to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with the required tags to be entered. Post as many as you want.

Your choice of 10 rolls of super 8 or 5 rolls of 16mm film PLUS an exclusive invite to join our community of contributors at Stocksy United. We want to help you reach your artistic potential and create professional, stunning and relevant video with some of the best artists on the globe.

The contest will run for 3 weeks, starting today, December 15th, 2016, until January 5th, 2017. The winner will be announced on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
