Olympus XA, Kodak Ultramax 400 The deep vignette you see here is caused by the unusual shape of the lens and the square shaped aperture, the effect is exaggerated while shot wide open at ƒ/2.8. Lens correction can reduce the vignette, but at a cost. This is the way pictures are expected to be made with this particular camera. Its not a defect, its a feature.
